About Me

I’ve spent more than two decades operating and leading technology in environments where reliability, security, and accountability are not optional.

Across hospitality, engineering, manufacturing, legal, medical, and regulated utility environments, I’ve been responsible for infrastructure, DevOps, and information technology that had to work – under real-world constraints, audits, and business pressure.

What ultimately led me to fractional operational leadership was simple: many organizations don’t fail because of bad technology, but because no one truly owns the operational outcome.

How I work

I approach technology leadership as an operational discipline, not a collection of tools.

01

Clear Ownership and Accountability

02

Systems designed for predictability, not heroics

04

Technology decisions grounded in business impact and risk

03

Security and compliance treated as operational realities, not paperwork

I am hands-on when necessary, but my primary value is creating clarity, direction, and durable systems that teams can operate confidently.

WhoAMI

Relevant experience

My background includes senior leadership roles spanning:

DevOps and infrastructure strategy, execution, and team leadership

Multi-site data center operations and hybrid cloud environments

CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and container platforms

Security posture and compliance ownership, including PCI DSS 4.0

Disaster recovery, monitoring, and operational resilience

Cybersecurity assessments for public utility customers

I’ve managed teams, vendors, and platforms where failure carried real consequences – not just inconvenience.

Why fractional leadership?

Many organizations reach a point where operational complexity outpaces their internal leadership capacity – but hiring a full-time CTO or VP is premature, impractical, or misaligned.

Fractional operational leadership fills that gap.

I step in to:

  • Stabilize operations
  • Reduce risk
  • Establish structure and priorities
  • Elevate internal teams
  • Prepare organizations for their next stage – whether that’s growth, compliance, or permanent leadership

The goal is not dependency. The goal is momentum and durability.

WhoAMI

What this is – and isn’t

I don’t operate as a managed service provider, staff augmentation, or general IT support.

I work best with organizations that value:

Clear ownership

Direct communication

Operational discipline

Measurable outcomes

If you’re looking for senior leadership with accountability – without the commitment of a full-time executive – this model may be a fit.

If you’re evaluating whether fractional operational leadership makes sense for your organization, I’m open to a focused, exploratory conversation.
